Posted by Sen. Reid's Staff on 10/21/2010 - 2:27 PM Senator Harry Reid visited the Las Vegas Urban League’s job training facility after it received Recovery Act funding to upgrade facilities. Reid also broke ground for Charlie Frias Park which was named after the Las Vegas businessman and philanthropist who has worked to make Nevada a better place. Reid joined other state and federal officials in dedicating the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge, named after Reid's longtime friend and mentor former Governor Mike O’Callaghan as well as the late NFL player who left football to serve our country, Corporal Pat Tillman. |
