Posted by Sen. Reid's Staff on 11/19/2010 - 4:45 PM Senator Harry Reid this week stood up for Nevada seniors and military families by pushing for the passage of legislation that ensures doctors who treat Medicare patients continue to be fairly compensated for caring for our parents and grandparents. Doctor compensation was scheduled to drop by 23 percent on December 1, but Reid fought to keep these cuts from happening so that doctors are still able to see Nevada’s seniors. This bill is even more important for rural Nevadans who may have a limited number of doctors that treat Medicare patients. |
