REID SOBRE LAS CARRERAS AEREAS DE RENO DEL 2012

Washington, D.C. – El Senador por Nevada Harry Reid hizo las siguientes declaraciones sobre las carreras aéreas de Reno del 2012:

"Me complace que las carreras aéreas de Reno de este año hayan comenzado sin contratiempos. Este evento anual es muy importante para el norte de Nevada. Durante las últimas décadas miles de espectadores y aficionados han viajado a Reno para ver en acción lo mejor de la aviación estadounidense. Un examen minucioso del accidente del año pasado ha producido importantes recomendaciones que garantizan la seguridad de los miles de aficionados que asisten a las carreras este año y los que lo harán en el futuro. En el pasado, he tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar de estas carreras y espero poder pronto asistir de nuevo".

REID STATEMENT ON THE 2012 RENO AIR RACES 

Washington, D.C.- Nevada Senator Harry Reid issued the following statement on the 2012 Reno Air Races:

"I am pleased that the Reno Air Races have begun. The annual event has been so important to Northern Nevada, and for the last five decades thousands of spectators and enthusiasts have traveled to Reno to enjoy the very best in American aviation. Thorough examinations of last year's tragic crash have yielded important recommendations that will help ensure the safety of spectators attending the races this year and in years ahead. I have had the opportunity to enjoy the show in the past and am looking forward to attending another in the near future."
