Reid Meets With Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Officers Honored At White House

May 17, 2013 - Nevada Senator Harry met this week with Nevada Law Enforcement Officers honored by the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) for its annual Top Cops Award. The honorees, members of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henderson Police Department, and the Las Vegas field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, were honored at the White House for their efforts in capturing wanted murderer Jason Baires after a gun fight. NAPO launched the awards program in 1994 and recipients are nominated by fellow officers for outstanding service.
