February 25, 2010 Washington, D.C. -- Nevada Senator Harry Reid today hailed the passage of the Travel Promotion Act. This bill, which follows the model of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, establishes a public-private partnership to promote the United States as a top international travel destination and provide information on U.S. security and entry policies. Because of Reid’s collaboration with his colleagues in the Senate and House of Representatives, the Travel Promotion Act will now be sent to President Obama to be signed into law.
