Nevada Senator Harry Reid today was sworn in for his fifth term as United States Senator from Nevada. In his continuing role as majority leader Reid will lead the Senate to help middle-class families, to create jobs, to hasten energy independence, to improve our children’s education and to fix the nation’s broken immigration system. Reid vowed to protect important tax cuts that are helping Nevada families and small businesses and challenged his colleagues to reject extreme ideas that would hurt Nevada.
