Senator Harry Reid welcomed President Obama to Nevada for a series of events focused on housing relief and bolstering the Silver State's economy.  Obama and Reid introduced new efforts to stem foreclosures in Nevada -- part of a $1.5 billion relief program.  "Our state is going to receive at least $100 million; that will go a long way toward helping to keep people in their homes and assisting those who are underwater," said Reid.  Obama on Friday addressed the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and the Convention and Visitors Authority.  "In the worst economic turmoil that we've faced in generations, Las Vegas has been at the eye of the storm," said Obama.  The president highlighted efforts by Reid and others to bring about recovery -- helping Nevada's businesses expand and hire workers.
