Reid Discusses Importance of Omnibus Appropriations Bill for Nevada

Nevada Senator Harry Reid today discussed the importance of passing the omnibus appropriations bill, which the Senate is expected to vote on this week. Reid worked to include more than $100 million in funding for important Nevada projects that will keep Nevadans in their homes by preventing foreclosures, provide health care for the uninsured, increase the number of nurses and health care professionals, and invest in transportation and energy projects that will make needed improvements to our state and put Nevadans back to work.

“The money I am working to secure in this bill will help fund important projects in Nevada and around the country,” Reid said. “There is funding to help keep Nevadans in their homes, provide health care for the uninsured, and invest in energy and transportation projects that will make needed improvements and create thousands of jobs.” To see the full list of Nevada specific projects Reid is working to secure funding for please click here.
