Nevada Senator Harry Reid today discussed the news that A-Power Energy Generation Systems plans to build a new wind turbine production and assembly plant in Nevada. This state-of-the-art facility will create more than 1,000 jobs for Nevadans who will build wind turbines fir projects in North and South America. "I urged A-Power to choose our state as the site for the plant because I believe Nevada can be a world leader in clean energy," said Reid. "This industry will help us create jobs immediately, while diversifying our state's economy for the long-term."
