The Senate today passed a bipartisan jobs bill known as the HIRE Act. Through investments in our nation's infrastructure, a payroll tax cut and small business tax credits, this fully paid-for bill has the potential to create or save thousands of jobs in Nevada this year. Following the vote, Senator Harry Reid also announced the re-direction of $45 million from Maglev to NDOT. "This effort will have the biggest immediate impact for job creation and relief from traffic congestion," said Reid.
