Nevada Senator Harry Reid spoke about the importance of Interior Secretary Ken Salazar's visit to Nevada. The Interior Secretary is expected to announce hundreds of millions of dollars in projects funded through the Economic Recovery Act that will help put Nevadans back to work and stimulate the state’s economy. Reid looks forward to his continued work with Salazar on issues related to public lands and Nevada’s role in the clean energy revolution. "He's coming to tell people in Nevada that not only is the check in the mail, the money is there," said Reid. "What he's going to announces will stimulate the economy in southern Nevada."
