Nevada Senator Harry Reid filed a Supreme Court amicus brief supporting the family of fallen Marine Lance Corporal Matthew A. Snyder.  After Snyder was killed in Iraq in 2006, members of a Kansas church marred his funeral with ugly, hateful protests.  Reid believes that America owes the men and women of the Armed Forces a solemn memorial when they sacrifice their lives to protect America.  He was was joined today by Snyder's father and members of the VFW, American Legion, and Military Officers Association of America.
