June 8, 2010 Nevada Senator Harry Reid's upcoming Senate agenda will continue to focus on job creation. In Nevada and around the country, the need remains to create jobs so that middle class families can recover and the unemployed can return to work. Reid will begin by helping small businesses grow and hire. For Nevadans out of a job, Reid will extend emergency unemployment benefits to help make ends meet. "We've done a lot," said Reid when speaking about the Senate's accomplishments this year. "But every time I go home to Nevada, I am reminded of how much more we have to do, and reenergized to do it."
