Nevada Senator Harry Reid today discussed the upcoming confirmation hearing of Judge Sonia Sotomayor, President Obama’s pick to fill the U.S. Supreme Court seat soon to be vacated by retiring Justice David Souter. Judge Sotomayor’s qualifications and real world experience will serve her well as our nation’s next Supreme Court Justice. Reid will continue working to ensure Judge Sotomayor receives a fair, impartial hearing and quick confirmation in the Senate.
