 Nevada Senator Harry Reid today led the Senate in passing a long-term extension of unemployment benefits. This legislation will help stimulate the economy and assist Nevadans who are struggling to pay the bills and support their families. "I receive countless emails, letters and phone calls from Nevadans urging Congress to provide them with assistance in their time of need," said Reid. "Today I'm proud to say that we offered them that safety net."
