Nevada Senator Harry Reid spoke at the Clark County Shooting Park opening ceremony, Tuesday, August 25. Reid was instrumental in securing land and more than $60 million in funding for the park.

Reid said, “Nevadans aimed high when we set out to create the largest and most advanced shooting range in the world. But we kept a steady eye on our target. And today, with great pride, Nevada has hit the bulls-eye.” Wayne LaPierre, CEO of the National Rifle Association, and other NRA members also attended the opening ceremony.
