Nevada Senator Harry Reid is working to pass an extension of unemployment benefits to help Nevadans who have lost their jobs. The bill the Senate will vote on this week extends unemployment insurance by up to fourteen weeks for the unemployed in all 50 states, and provides an additional six week extension to the hardest hit states, including Nevada. “That’s what this is all about — taking care of those people who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own,” said Reid.
