Nevada Senator Harry Reid today discussed the grand opening of CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip. When CityCenter encountered financial challenges earlier this year, Reid called banks to advocate on the project’s behalf, helping to protect the project and save thousands of jobs. "The opening of CityCenter will help strengthen our state’s economy by attracting tourists to Las Vegas who will come just to see its latest creation, just as they have done with other big-name Strip resorts," said Reid.
