Nevada Senator Harry Reid today discussed how the Silver State will benefit from the health insurance reform bill that is nearing passage in the U.S. Senate. In addition to providing three years of full funding for Medicaid for Nevada, this bill will provide affordable coverage for more than 518,000 Nevadans without insurance, lower premiums and prescription drug costs for 328,000 Nevada seniors by strengthening Medicare and provide tax credits for 24,000 small businesses in Nevada to make coverage for their employees more affordable.
