May 19, 2008 Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid today met with representatives from the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. Among the topics discussed were: the need for long-term renewable tax credits; strengthening small business; investing in highways; and protecting the Highway Trust Fund. “The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest in the country and represents thousands of Nevadans and Nevada businesses,” said Reid. “I appreciate the work the Chamber does on behalf of Nevada’s business community. I thank them for taking the time to meet with me during their time in Washington and look forward to working with them to strengthen Nevada’s economic future.”
