Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid yesterday met with U.S. Air Force Brigadier General (Select) Peter Gersten from the 432d Wing, Creech Air Force Base and U.S. Air Force Colonel John Montgomery from the 98th Range Wing, Nellis Air Force Base.

“It was an honor to meet with two decorated leaders of our nation’s Air Force from Nevada,” Reid said. “We had a good conversation about some of the ways that our state's two Air Force bases are contributing to critical missions in Afghanistan, Libya, and around the world. I’ll continue to do everything in my power to ensure that these brave men and women have all the resources they need to continue protecting Nevada and our country.”

Also meeting with Senator Reid were: Yvonne Gresnick (Vice Commander to COL Montgomery); Chief Master Sergeant Stephen Cleveland (Senior Enlisted Airman to BG Gersten); First Lieutenant Raquel Dronenburg; Second Lieutenant Taylor Braco; Senior Airman Jose Hernandez-Chapa (Sensor Operator on the MQ-1B Predator); Senior Airman Tyler Wisecup (Mission Intelligence Coordinator).
