Washington, DC— Nevada Senator Harry Reid made the following statement today in response to the President’s remarks on the economy: 

“I am encouraged and share the President’s view that we need prompt bipartisan action to strengthen our economy. I also agree that our focus must be on finding temporary measures that will do the job effectively. I look forward to working with the President to implement responsible solutions that revive our economy for the benefit of all Americans.”
