Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid made the following statement on Chinese New Year:

“As Nevada’s senior Senator, I appreciate the cultural diversity that makes our state great.  Nevada’s Asian- American population continues to grow rapidly, enrich our state and strengthen our communities.  As the Chinese New Year begins, I wish all Chinese-Americans living in Nevada a prosperous Year of the Rabbit as we continue to create jobs and build a more competitive Nevada.”
