Page continues trend of Reid using social media platforms to communicate with Nevadans and Americans nationwide

Senator Reid today announced the launch of his Senate Office’s official Facebook page to help communicate with Nevadans in innovative ways. Nevadans are encouraged to “like” the page at Facebook.com/SenatorReid to access news on the latest legislation, special video messages on important issues, and other useful resources for Nevadans and Americans across the country.

“I always look for new and innovative ways to connect with Nevadans, and I’m pleased to announce the launch of my Facebook page,” Reid said. “Nevadans will be able to learn about legislation, workshops my office conducts, and find useful resources. I look forward to hearing the thoughts and ideas from Nevadans and communicating with them.”
The launch of Reid’s official Senate Facebook page continues Reid’s leadership in social media to ensure he’s reaching Nevadans through modern communication tools. Nearly 50,000 users follow Reid’s English- and Spanish-language Twitter handles. Additionally, Reid is a leader on YouTube (YouTube.com/SenatorReid), with hundreds of videos uploaded.
