Washington, DC— Nevada Senator Harry Reid today announced that Health Access Washoe County will receive $2,017,519 from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to help overcome barriers in underserved communities. The grant comes from HHS’s Health Center Cluster Program. “Community health centers are a critical part of Nevada’s and our nation’s health care system,” Reid said. “This grant will help sustain and improve these centers in Washoe County that provide access to underserved Nevadans.” ###
