April 22, 2010 Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid met yesterday with representatives from the Nevada Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America to discuss issues regarding military pay raises, veterans’ spousal and disability benefits and requirements for retirement programs. In attendance were Captain Dick Daleke, first Vice President of MOAA's Lake Tahoe Chapter and Colonel Michael Jordan, Director of Marketing and Contract Services. “I am very proud of Nevada’s women and men in uniform in the work they do to serve and defend our country,” said Senator Reid. “In support of our troops, I have been working to provide greater compensation and other employment benefits to veterans and their families. I remain committed to see that our veterans receive the benefits they deserve.”
