April 23, 2010

Washington D.C.— Nevada Senator Harry Reid today congratulated Rear Admiral Mark I. Fox for appointment to vice admiral with assignment as commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Central Command and Commander, 5th Fleet, in Bahrain.

“Admiral Fox’s aviation experience includes more than 100 combat and contingency missions and more than 4,800 logged flight hours before he even started his strategic career.  I appreciate the knowledge and expertise Admiral Fox has contributed as commander of Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center at Naval Air Station in Fallon.  He and his wife, Pricilla, have touched the community of Fallon and will be missed.
