Reid Discusses Paycheck Fairness Act With Lilly Ledbetter

Washington, D.C.- Nevada Senator Harry Reid today discussed the Paycheck Fairness Act with Senator Barbara Mikulski and pay equity advocate Lilly Ledbetter. Republicans unanimously blocked the bill which would have given workers stronger tools to combat wage discrimination; bar retaliation against workers for discussing salary information; and help secure adequate compensation for victims of gender-based pay discrimination.
