Washington, DC – Nevada Senator Harry Reid released the following statement after Karen Mills, Administrator for the Small Business Administration, spoke with small business owners in Las Vegas and Henderson today at Reid’s invitation:

“I thank Administrator Mills for accepting my invitation to meet with small business owners in Southern Nevada,” Reid said.  “She shared information about how the  Recovery Act, the HIRE Act, and the Affordable Care Act have created opportunities for these companies, as well as bills Congress is currently working on to help them hire more workers in the coming months. Small businesses are the engine of economic growth and will continue to lead our economy to a full recovery.”
