Executives from the company were on hand to explain renewable energy technologies currently being used and expanded upon at each facility. “Nevada has a wealth of renewable energy resources,” Reid said. “I was pleased to see the innovation of Nevadans at use in turning these renewable resources into clean energy right here in Northern Nevada. With continued efforts like I saw today, Nevada can and will be a leader in the clean energy revolution.” GE Energy’s facility in Minden specializes in a broad array of energy efficiency technologies and products for traditional energy sources, as well as for solar and wind applications.
