Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid released the following statement upon learning that Chief Warrant Officer James Crawford passed away earlier this month. Crawford was one of the Nevada National Guard’s longest-serving soldiers:
“I am saddened to hear the news of the passing of Chief Warrant Officer James Crawford,” said Reid. “My thoughts are with his wife Donnie, his three children and his entire family. He was greatly admired and respected by the Guard for his selfless service to his state and country for nearly 42 years. Today, we thank him for his service and the example he set for so many.”
