Middle Class Families, Small Businesses Will Have Access To Affordable Choices Like Members of Congress August 15, 2011 Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid today announced $4,045,076 to help Nevada establish an affordable health insurance exchange – or state-based marketplace for insurance -- where individuals and small businesses can compare and purchase different private health insurance plans based on their needs and have similar insurance choices as those available to Members of Congress. This exchange is being set up as a result of health insurance reform and will be implemented beginning in 2014.
