Reid receives responses to letter calling for rejection of discriminatory federal travel policy September 14, 2009 Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid today released letters he has received so far in response to his letter to federal agencies regarding travel discrimination against cities known as resort destinations. Reid’s letter followed correspondence with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, who made it clear that there is no room in the Obama administration for a federal travel policy that prohibits travel to any particular U.S. city.
