Reid Meets With Nevada Representatives Of The Clean Economy Network

Reid meets with Nevada representatives of Clean Economy Network, today to discuss the passage of comprehensive climate and energy legislation.

Washington D.C.-- Nevada Senator Harry Reid welcomed Nevada representatives of Clean Economy Network yesterday to discuss prospects for passing job-creating climate and energy legislation.
 
Reid is working diligently on comprehensive clean energy legislation to increase investment and job creation in Nevada, in hopes of diversifying Nevada’s economy. Nevada’s representatives in the Clean Economy Network are leaders in advanced renewable energy, representing the latest technology in solar, wind and green building construction in Nevada.
 
“I am dedicated to making Nevada energy independent and a national leader in clean energy,” said Reid, “Nevada’s renewable energy industry will create jobs, diversify our economy and shape a healthier environment we can be proud to pass on to our children and grandchildren.”
