Washington, DC – Today Nevada Senator Harry Reid met with a group of seventeen students from Pershing County High School. The foundation is the largest not-for-profit organization for education in America.

“I hope that this trip will give you all the opportunity to visit some of our nation’s most historic sites. Washington, DC is a wonderful city that brings the lessons of citizenship and leadership to life,” said Senator Reid. “My interest in government was sparked at an early age, and I hope that your visits to Washington’s many museums and monuments have inspired you to learn even more about American history and government.”
