Marks first 90 days since passage of health care reform June 23, 2010 Washington, D.C.— Nevada Senator Harry Reid today announced a new Patient’s Bill of Rights as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that will end rescissions, ban lifetime limits on coverage, restrict annual limits on coverage, and eliminate pre-existing condition exclusions for children this September. The new law also guarantees Nevadans will have their choice of primary care doctors and pediatricians from a plan’s network.
