Grants will help spur private investment and increase access September 14, 2010 Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid today announced more than $10 million dollars for broadband Internet projects in rural Nevada and for the Reno–Sparks Indian Colony. KeyOn Communications will receive $10,161,222 which is being matched by a $2 million private investment. This funding will allow KeyOn to offer 4G last-mile wireless broadband internet and digital phone service in the 39 most rural communities in the state. Approximately 93,000 people, 5,522 business and more than 800 municipal organizations will benefit from this service.
