 Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid made the following statement on Small Business Saturday, which is this Saturday, November 24th:
 
“Small businesses are the backbone of Nevada’s economy, and their success helps drive innovation in our country and strengthen our nation’s middle class. When small businesses are thriving, new opportunities are created for hard working Nevadans and for Nevada communities. With this year’s Holiday Season approaching, we are given an important opportunity to support Nevada’s small businesses during Small Business Saturday, an event that highlights the contributions small businesses make in communities across the nation. On Saturday, I hope Nevadans decide to “think small” and support local merchants, shop owners, and entrepreneurs. Your support will boost our economy, create jobs, and help secure our long-term economic recovery.”
