Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid made the following statement on Small Business Saturday, which is this Saturday, November 26th. Small Business Saturday falls on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year, between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and encourages shoppers to buy from local small businesses:

"Small businesses in Nevada and across the country play an important role in our economy spurring innovation, growth, and job creation. Their success is key to our economic recovery, so we must do everything possible to support small businesses as they hire local workers and contribute to local economies. This Saturday is an opportunity to show support for the small business owners that help strengthen our communities all year round. I encourage Nevadans to shop small tomorrow, and whenever possible, to help boost our economy and make our communities more vibrant places to live and work.”
