December 1, 2009 “I was pleased to read today’s report from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office announcing that the Economic Recovery Act has created or saved more than one million jobs, including thousands in Nevada. “While this report shows progress there is still much more to be done. With much of the Recovery Act’s impact still to be felt, many Nevadans continue to struggle with unemployment, paying their bills, and inadequate, or no healthcare. As I fight in the Senate over the next few weeks to fix our nation’s broken health insurance system, I will continue my work to create jobs and strengthen our economy.” The CBO report can be viewed online at: http://cbo.gov/ftpdocs/106xx/doc10682/11-30-ARRA.pdf
