Reid's Call To Help Struggling Nevada Homeowners Answered By Bank Of America

December 29, 2009

WASHINGTON, DC – In an effort to bring much needed assistance to Nevada homeowners who are struggling with their mortgages, Nevada Senator Harry Reid recently sent a letter to Bank of America urging the bank to direct more resources toward Nevada.

Bank of America sent a letter responding to Senator Reid, thanking him, and recognizing the personal involvement that Senator Reid has in issues affecting Nevada homeowners. Their letter outlined some of the ways they are attempting to help Nevadans, and expressed a willingness to meet with Senator Reid and discuss how best to remedy the problems Nevadans are facing.

“I want to thank Bank of America for their response to my letter regarding the struggles of Nevada homeowners, Reid said.” “I also want to thank them for the steps they are already taking, as well as their commitment to additional personnel in our state. Nevada homeowners still need help though, and I look forward to speaking with Ms. Desoer soon to discuss steps that can be taken to ease the burden on Nevadans.”
