Washington, D.C. is an exciting city to visit, with many interesting places to tour.  My office can schedule tours of the U.S. Capitol and limited tours of the White House.

Constituent Meet-and-Greet
Every Thursday that the Senate is in session, I host a breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the U.S. Capitol to welcome Nevadans to Washington, D.C.  I have been enjoying these “Welcome to Washington” gatherings since being elected to Congress in 1982.  This meet-and-greet gives me the opportunity to talk and get to know my fellow Nevadans.  A Senate photographer will be there for any Nevadan that would like a photo to commemorate their visit to the Capitol..

Capitol Tours
The United States Capitol Building is a monument, a working office building, and one of the most recognizable symbols of representative democracy in the world.  Visitors are welcomed to enter the building through the Capitol Visitor Center, located underground on the east side of the Capitol.  You can begin your Capitol experience at the Visitor Center by visiting the Exhibition Hall, perusing the gift shops or dining in the restaurant.  For more information, please visit the Capitol Visitor Center website.
